Filming was rumored to begin in 2014 with a release date sometime in 2015. There has been zero news since the rumored casting of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Anyone know what’s going on with this film?

Possibly some changes to their movie idea here.

In short, Michael Mann who was to lead the ‘Go Like Hell’ project seems to now be attached to ‘Ferrari’ and Christian Bale has said he would do it and be Mr. Ferrari. Set in the late fifties. Mann has been working on a Ferrari movie for fifteen years they say. Who knows. Perhaps it could be something combined and done from the Ferrari perspective up until the loss to the GT’s? Who knows.

Indeed. I read it non-stop after hearing about it in the jellopiknik post about the movie. Never thought a non-fiction book could be so exciting.

Interesting. I didn’t know Mann was associated with both. It was the news of Bale being cast as Enzo in the Ferrari movie that jogged my memory about the Go Like Hell adaptation.
